The Attigliano Park of Study and Reflection is located in Umbria on the Lazio border bounded  by the Tiber River and surrounded by a lush hilly environment abundant in wood vegetation and olive groves.

The area is rich in medieval accounts as seen from the several tiny villages that have maintained and preserved their ancient structures such as Giove, Alviano and Attigliano itself.

The nearby Lugnano in Teverina, a fortified medieval town, has preserved one of the most impressive Romanesque structure of the 9th-12th centuries, the Church of Saint Mary.

A little further away are other medieval settlements of Etruscan origin like Bomarzo, famous for the Orsinis’ Park also known as The Park of the Monsters  and the impressive towns of Amelia with its cyclopean walls, and Narni.
